Saskatchewan Health Authority Saskatoon strives to provide comprehensive workplace health strategies to help employees maintain and improve their health and well-being. Our Healthy Workplace Program provides employee assistance, health promotion and wellness services. Our shared goal is healthy employees making a contribution to the organization within a healthy workplace environment. 

 

Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP)

Available to all Saskatchewan Health Authority employees and eligible dependents. Your EFAP provides confidential counselling services for when you need professional help with a challenging situation. The program also offers Lifestyle and Specialty Counselling Services—a series of work-life services for expert advice, information, and coaching that you can access and use in your own way.

Fitness & Wellness Programs

The Healthy Workplace Initiative offers ongoing programs, information and educational opportunities that focus on promoting positive mental health and physical well-being for staff and departments.

Tobacco and SmokeFREE Program 

Access to consultative support, education and one-on-one or group counselling for employees, clients and the public. If you have questions or comments, please contact the Tobacco Helpline (306) 655-4685 or e-mail tobaccofree@saskatoonhealthregion.ca.

Alternative Transportation Options

A variety of transportation options are available for Saskatchewan Health Authority employees in Saskatoon. Please contact Parking Services for more information on the following services:

  • Shuttles – Inter Hospital
  • Shuttles – E Lot
  • Cycling cages and boxes
Professional Development and Learning Opportunities
